My mom was a water color artist and art teacher, so I have been exposed to art my entire life. After a career in information technology and project management with the telephone company, I have found my passion in jewelry-making. This activity provides me a creative outlet like that I experienced in my business career through managing the design and coding computer programs. I am a Birmingham native, a graduate of Auburn, and a current resident of Gulf Shores. I have been creating jewelry since 2012. My jewelry features bright colors: my lamp-work beads and pearls, torch or kiln-fired enamel over copper, wire crochet and hand-cut silver, brass, or copper. I also use re-purposed biscuit tins to fabricate earrings and broaches. All pieces are original design and are unique.
I also fabricate garden ornaments using copper pipe and soldered wire embellished with my hand-make lamp-work beads and hand-cut acrylic in multiple shapes.
Apparently I like working with fire and hot kilns
