George Taylor

Montgomery, AL

In 1989, George Taylor left his job at an Atlanta CPA firm to pursue his life – long dream of becoming an artist. A self – professed “art history fanatic”, George taught himself to paint and has been a full – time working artist since 1999. Befitting his impressionist style, George has become a local icon throughout the Montgomery region as “that guy who paints by the side of the road”. George Taylor’s award – winning oil paintings have appeared in countless juried exhibitions, festivals, and private collections, including four solo shows in Southeastern museums.
