Get active in nature with these fun Moss Rock Festival outdoor activities:

ROCK CLIMBING WALL – Test your vertical climbing ability on Mountain High Outfitters’‘s rock climbing wall. Located on the Village Green near the pool & Town Hall.

ROPE BRIDGE – Kids can build confidence as they maneuver across this rope bridge challenge created by Boy Scout Pack and Troop 93. Located between the WonderKid Studios on the south end of the Village Green and Blue Row to the east.

FLY FISHING DEMO – Learn about fly fishing and see a special exhibition of tied fly lures created by local artist and avid fly fisherman, Scott Bennett. Located at Site 468 on the Blue Row.

GUIDED HIKES – Join the Friends of Moss Rock Preserve as they lead Interpretive Hikes in the 350 acre Moss Rock Preserve (nature preserve) adjacent to The Preserve neighborhood and Festival site.
1:00 pm – Saturday & Sunday – Sign up & meet up at the MRF Info Booth – Site 349 (top of Orange Row)

Hike to boulder formations, waterfalls and other landmarks in the parks backcountry. 2-3 miles roundtrip. A significant amount of natural history interpretation will be given during the first section of the hike. Participants who would like a shorter walk can stop in the Boulderfield-Hidden Falls area near the start of the hike and return on their own. Distance to Hidden Falls and back to the festival is 3/4 miles roundtrip.
