Bodhisala Botanical #313
What we make:
We make botanical essential oil blends to replace the toxic chemicals in our homes and to cut our carbon footprint. The primary functions of the oils in plants are to protect the plant from pathogens of all manner without harming the plant, and to bring oxygen to the plant. The oils are germicidal, antifungal, etc. They work and they heal. There are 12 formulas sold in ½ ounce bottles which are suitable for most household cleaning and sanitizing needs, pest control, pet pest control, body odor caused by bacteria, and one for keeping wounds aseptic speeding healing.
The manner of packaging, only the active agents, cuts our carbon footprint dramatically. To package and transport millions, trillions? of gallons of water and the ensuing costs, financially and environmentally is unnecessary.
All packaging is in glass. The name Bodhisala means “to know peace”.
Why: Our little part in healing the world. A poisonous world is no inheritance to leave our children. And we are not meant to harm ourselves.

NYR Organic #439
Neal’s Yard Remedies creates certified organic skincare and wellness products. Family owned since 1981 in the UK, NYR Organic follows the precautionary principle–we don’t use anything in our products that we believe could cause you or the planet harm. We know the origins of all our herbs and ingredients and grow most ourselves at Peacemarsh Farm and Sheepdrove Farm. Our products are crafted by hand in small batches at our carbon neutral eco-factory at Peacemarsh and contain no parabens, no GMO, no nano particles, no synthetic fragrance, no synthetic color, no silicones, no mineral oils, no phthalates, no EDTA, no propylene glycol, no SLS or SLES, no carbomer, no petroleum byproducts, no DEA. And we never test on animals. Our company believes in sustainability from seed to skin, and the two companies that produce our recycled and recyclable packaging are also carbon neutral. The few ingredients that cannot be certified organic (like our frankincense) because they are truly wild harvested are fairly traded.
In addition to creating effective, therapeutic and safe products, we believe that education about natural living and advocacy are part of our mission. At our farm at Sheepdrove, we have an eco-conference center that holds workshops on organic farming practices, natural living, herbal remedies and more. Our Bee Lovely campaign and petition were instrumental in the recent UK decision to temporarily ban neonicotinoids. And we have partnered this year with Moms Across America to advocate for US labeling of all GMOs and products that contain GMO ingredients.
My website is cleanorganicbeauty.com and contains great information about our practices, including some awesome videos. My Facebook business page is www.facebook.com/JenniferCampbellNYR.

The computers are then broken down & the components are boxed as follows: motherboards, fingerboards, memory (by speed), optical, floppies, power supplies, aluminum. These components are all weighed & sent by tractor trailer to various companies who actually shred & separate the circuitry & re-use the plastic materials to make more circuit boards: Metal, Plastic, Wire, Battery Back-ups (wire, metal cases & batteries separated).
