What are the 2020 Festival dates, times?

November 7-8, 2020

Where will the festival take place this year?

(NEW VENUE) Hoover Met Complex, Hoover, Alabama | 5500 Stadium Trace Parkway, Hoover, AL 35244

Will the festival have a VIRTUAL Marketplace component this year in addition to the public festival?

Yes, MOSS MAGIC will be featuring a virtual marketplace November 9-15, 2020 offering more opportunities to connect with Moss Rock Festival and Magic City Art Connection artists, especially if you do not make it out to the November 7-8 public festival. Note: Some artists will be featured in the virtual marketplace only. So, be sure to check out both.

How will admission work in 2020?

Admission will operate as usual. We recommend purchasing your tickets in advance for faster and contact free entry. Gates will be open starting at 10am each day.

Are there special student, military, or senior discounts?

Unfortunately, this year there are no discounted tickets.

What is your ticket refund policy / donation option? 

In case of festival cancellation, full refunds will be given for advance ticket purchases. We hope you’ll also consider making a donation to the non-profit festival! Your support will go a long way in helping sustain this beloved festival into 2021.

What is the parking plan?

Free, on site parking at the Hoover Met Complex.

Will there be a drop off point for visitors and handicapped patrons?

Visitor Drop offs & Pick-ups may be made off of Champion Way at the Lower Gate across from the soccer fields. Take a left off off of Stadium Trace Parkway onto Champion Way. Follow road til you see Tent/Gate on right at lot midpoint. Please be vigilant of festival attendees and staff. Thank you.

Handicapped parking is available in the Hoover Metropolitan Complex lots. There will be a limited number of reserved handicapped spots adjacent to the festival grounds at the complex’s lower lot near the soccer fields. Access these lower lot spaces off of Champion Way. Take a left off off of Stadium Trace Parkway onto Champion Way. Follow road to where lower lot ends on right, and festival staff will help you.

What coronavirus protocols are being planned for visitor and public health safety?

This list is continuing to develop and evolve. Below are the policies and protocols being put in place so far.

a – VENUE CHANGE to Hoover Met Complex

b – NO SHUTTLING of visitors, on site parking available at the Hoover Met Complex

c – MASKS REQUIRED for entry and exploring festival exhibitor booths

d – Gate will institute minimal or no contact. CREDIT CARDS recommended to purchase Tickets.

e – ONE WAY TRAFFIC on exhibitor rows to cut down on cross traffic

f – CROSS TRAFFIC permitted in designated across central green to access all three one way Festival streets

g – SITE FOOTPRINT is being expanded

h – EXHIBITOR BOOTHS are being placed farther apart for better socially distancing

i – Widening of PEDESTRIAN PATHWAYS

j – LOUNGING / EATING AREAS will be designated zones for up to 2/4/6up individuals in the same group at a time

k – Hand SANITIZER STATIONS will be strategically located throughout the site and at portalets.

Mask policies

Due to state public health guidelines, visitors will be required to wear a mask for entry and exploring festival exhibitor booths.

Masks can be removed for eating while in the cafe area / inside designated eating zones.

If you forget a mask, the festival will have some on hand for $1 purchase. NOTE: Look for artist-made masks featuring designs inspired by their art.

Will visitors be able to leave and return to the event?

Ticket Holders will be able to enter and exit at their leisure with festival armbands.

What should I bring?

Will the festival, artists and exhibitors accept cash?

The Festival discourages the use of cash this year, but can accept.

Artists and Exhibitors are responsible for processing their own sales.

15.
Will there be food, drinks, and other concessions?

Yes, a selection of food trucks and other concessions are being planned for the weekend.

The festival will be providing various coca cola products and water for sale.

Can you bring in outside food & drink?

Not allowed due to vendor concessions on site.

17.
Will Beer Garden be happening this year?

Yes, but with a twist. This year beer lovers can join us on our very first Beer Garden Trail, a craft tasting crawl experience with stops staged at local & nearby brewery establishments. Click here for more info.

Will there be art workshops for children?

WonderKid Studios will be offering socially distanced Art & Nature projects for children.

Will there be hikes in the Moss Rock Preserve?
