THE BLOG INTERVIEWS – Artist Row’s Laurel Browning, Painting

What artist’s career do you follow?
I love following local artists that I have met at various art shows or that were my ‘neighbors’ at the shows. Artists like Anne Moore, Dana Smith, Brian Bohanan, Michael Mixon and Wellon Bridgers just to name a few.

What artist have you traded art with over the last year?
I have traded art with PBS Artstudio in Saint Cloud, FL this past year. I usually try to buy at least one piece (albeit small) at every show I participate in and have a fun collection hanging in my laundry room.

How is your art inspired by nature?
My Creator is who inspires me so all of His created Nature is inspiring. I love how different seasons and their colors evoke different emotions. I love painting in all the watercolors of nature ~turquoise, aquas, greens, blues.

What is the most difficult part of your art process?
Prep work~i don’t love it!

What is the range of prices that you charge for your art?
I want to offer affordable art to anyone that would want to buy a piece. My prices range from a $5 cross magnet to $25 artblocks to $100-$900 paintings.
